Polaroid Project

Polaroid Project

The Strongest technical aspect of my work was the placement of the polaroids. Its the strongest aspect because that is the focal point in the assignment. The polaroids are supposed to be most visible and stand out for people to see. They also help you see the picture it is trying to put together.
What I think can be improved on in this assignment is the putting the polaroid in a specific order so it makes sense. This picture shows his head being apart from his body, which need to be more on the plane of where his body is. Also making a better plane for him to sit on.
What was easy was the background and painting it using the blur tool. The background was originally a sheet of the music staff, i then blurred it out and made it purple. I made it purple because thats his favorite color.
What was difficult about this project was where to place each polaroid on the plane and trying to connect them together. I tried to get important elements through the polaroids. I demonstrated the objective through the polaroid. Its showing the picture behind it. Im trying to show the audience that he's behind the polaroids playing guitar. If I could do this activity differently then I would make the polaroids more close together and make the background different.

The Face Touch Up Project

The Strongest technical aspect of my work was using the healing tool to repair her skin. As i kept pressing option and click in clean spaces of clear skin, it made her face have less and less freckles, giving her a clear complexion. The technical of my work that can be improved on would be the sharpness of the skin, and her patches of skin tone. Especially near her mouth, when i used the brush tool, i tried to find the closest color to match the patches on her face. The easiest part of this project was adding the make up to her lips and eyes. I used a small brush tool to make the eye liner, then i used the brush tool for the lips and eye shadow on a bigger brush. The most difficult part about this project was getting rid of all the freckles with the same color skin tone to her face. Always trying to remember to press option, and clicking a different patch of skin was hard to get used too. I demonstrated the objective in this activity by removing all of her blemishes, trying to match the skin tone and used the different tools to do so. It demonstrated the beauty behind her freckles. If i could do this art activity again, i would change the contouring of the face. It would have been better to fix the darker patches on her face near her mouth and eyes. I also wanted to keep the all natural skin tone with it as well, i didn't want to make her look fake. This project was actually really fun for me but it also taught me a lesson that no matter what you look like you're beautiful on the outside no matter how much blemish, or scars or even makeup, it doesn't change YOU who you are.

Desaturation Activity

The strongest technical aspect of my work is the angle of my picture, because it shows great detail of leaves and the trunk. I think what can be improved on in this picture would be the focusing and the sharpness on the leaves.
I think what was easy about the activity was coloring in the leaves. What i thought was difficult on this picture was nothing, i found the word image and desaturate to change the picture pretty easily.
What i demonstrated  on this activity was the desaturation in the tree trunk. If i could do this art activity again and i had to change something about it would be the color of the leaves would be desaturated and the trunk would be its original color.
