Photography 4 Prints, Small strips, Value strips on the courtyard

The strongest Technical aspect of my work is the Prints that came out when I developed it. By  using my negatives and the enlarger I was able to fit the picture on the paper. But i think I can improve on my borders and how much light touches the paper when using the enlarger. I got stuck between F11 and F8. I could never get the color right. So I could probably improve on those aspects of my work.

What was easy about this activity was aligning the strips on the easil and make the value strips. What also was easy was developing my prints and strips through the developer and stop bath and fixer, and so on. Ive done it so much I pretty much have it down to a "T" when knowing when to take the prints out of the chemicals. What was difficult about the activity was trying to find the perfect light outside while taking to photos.

How I demonstrated the objective in this art activity was to show how I got the value scales on the value strips and how much light is hitting my prints. Also testing each Apertures on the enlarger and showing how to get borders using the easel. If I could do this activity again I would change the Aperture differently on the second print. Even though I still finished, it has been bothering me that I couldn't get these right. Ill try again another day!

Coffee Camera Project

The Strongest Technical aspect of my work would be getting the light exposure of the paper. Also getting myself center and in focus in the test strips on the 5x7 with the coffee camera. Managing to get light in most the test strips was a great accomplishment, but this is something i can improve on. The 5x7 negative is much better than the second one. Trying to make a positive with the enlarger didn't work.
There was too much grey. There was too much light coming in besides the pin hole on the outside. What was difficult about this project was trying to stand still in the same spot without moving. Also trying to get the negative to the positive and kept getting a grey color on all of them. The objective was to see how the light effects this certain photo paper.

Also trying to get a good photo out of it with all three colors, white, gray, and black in the photo. If i did this project again i would try to use a different F-Stop and maybe try different time on the enlarger. Also using a different coffee camera.
